Turbo tax online carryforwards from PC last year

I purchased the Online version by mistake.  I normally purchase the home version.  Now what do i do? I don't want to re-enter all my carryforwards - but i didnt see that option and now its asking me 10,000 questions.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble completing your return to your satisfaction, I hope this helps.

 

First, you can create a TurboTax Online account, it is Free, no fees are charged until you are ready to file your return.  You can go to the TurboTax Download version page to choose the TurboTax Desktop version that satisfies your needs here: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/personal-tax-software/download-tax-software.jsp

 

Both TurboTax Desktop and Online allow for the importation of the prior year information but only into the same platform. There is no direct way of transferring data from the TurboTax Desktop edition to the Online edition, or vice versa.  Both TurboTax Online and Desktop use the EasyStep interview process to guide individuals in completing their income tax & benefit return.  However, if you are familiar or intimate with income tax forms and schedules only the TurboTax Desktop edition has the Forms view that allows you to enter information directly onto the forms in completing your tax and benefit return. The amount of information you would have to retype by switching from one platform to another would depend on the complexity of your income tax and benefit returns.  The most simple of return can even use the TurboTax phone application to complete their income tax and benefit return.

I had the same problem and followed your link.  Do i need to pay again?  Or can i use the prepaid code?  Thanks.

You can now transfer information between desktop products and online products and you don't have to ask for a refund. check the following link for the steps:
