How do I transfer last year’s tax info from TurboTax Desktop to TurboTax Online?

If you used TurboTax Desktop last year and want to switch to TurboTax Online, here's how to transfer your details:

1. Sign into TurboTax Online and start a new retutn
2. When asked How did you do your taxes last year, select TurboTax Download/CD and Continue.
3. On the Let’s start with last year’s return screen, select Choose File.
4. Find and select your tax file from the prior year.
5. Enter your Social Insurance number and select Continue.
6. Answer the questions on the following screens to transfer your info.
