In TurboTax, how do I enter union, professional, and other dues?

You enter your union, professional, and other dues when you input your income and expenses information in TurboTax. These dues may be on your T4 slip, your Relevé 1 (if you were employed in Québec), or on a receipt.
Select your product and follow the instructions.
TurboTax Online (if your dues aren't included on a T- or Relevé slip)
- Answer the initial Personal Info interview questions if you haven't already. This unlocks 2024 tax return.
- From 2024 tax return, under Add to your return, enter union, then select Union or Professional Dues.
- At Union or Professional Membership Fees, enter your amounts, then select Continue.
TurboTax Desktop (if your dues aren't included on a T- or Relevé slip)
- From the side navigation panel, select Deductions & Credits > Payments Profile.
- At Your payments profile for 2024, check the box for Union, professional or like dues not reported on a T-Slip, and select Continue
- Check the box for Union, professional or like dues not reported on a T-Slip.
- At Union or professional membership fees, enter your amounts, then select Continue.
