How much can I claim for child care expenses?

If your child doesn't qualify for the Disability Tax Credit, the maximum you can claim is:
- $8,000 per child age 6 and under
- $5,000 per child age 7 to 15
- $5,000 per child age 15 or older, with a physical or mental infirmity
If your child qualifies for the Disability Tax Credit, you can claim up to $10,000 per child, regardless of their age.
