Charged Twice

I seem to be charged twice for the same amount. I was doing taxes for myself and my spouse but the same amount was charged at different times. I didn’t add extra options and just wanted the basic amount so I’m not sure why it’s doubled.

Charged Twice

You were charged twice, one for your return and the other for your spouses. When you do a joint return, you are charged for each one that you file.

Charged Twice

Ok thank you. So on the receipt then where it says $26 for a return then the $26 for another is how I read the two returns being charged for a total of $58.24. I got charged the 58.24 twice and at two different times, not together. Just out of curiosity, why wouldn’t the receipt then state the total is $116.48 or send the receipt twice because it did not.

Charged Twice

You were only charged once. It might show up the first time as a hold- then it should be removed. I just sent you a copy of your reciept for verification.
