Do I write down my foster children under Dependents?

No, you would not write down your foster children as dependants. Instead, you should be receiving social assistance payments from the foster agency or government. These social assistance payments are not taxable and do not need to be included in your tax return. You should receive form T5007 Statement of Benefits Slip which details the benefits you received.
