    Does he file as widowed now or still as separated? My Dad has been separated from my Mom for years. She passed away in 2017.

    If he is not divorced from her, then Yes, he files now as widowed and enter in the date that your mom passed away. I'm sorry for your loss.

    How about when they ask about the income, i put in YES because  I dont know how much is his.

    If you are filing your father's taxes, you should have all his income slips.......
