I am the higher income earning spouse. We separated in 2018 and share equal joint custody of our son, I pay ALL child care expenses. Can I claim 100%?
Hello, I have an update for you on your situation. If you are separated, the higher income rule does not apply. You claim all expenses you have paid for child expenses.
