I need to resubmit my return due to additional slips but the tool is not allowing me since my return was already submitted.

It's simple I need to resubmit my previously submitted return.

You can't resubmit a return that has already been filed.  If CRA already has the slips then they might make the changes when they process the return.  If not you will have to file an adjustment request.
