You would file the same type of tax return as in previous years and claim all income received up to the date of death.

Personal amounts will, be claimed in full as there is no requirement to prorate credits.

My husband died November 5, 2016. He had income all 2016 till then. Do I need a special form to file or can I file the same as usual. I am the executor.
