My return was accepted and we received the refund. Then I had to file an amendment for the energy credit. When will I get the additional refund of $1200?

When I filed the amendment, the process indicated that we would receive an additional $1200. However I cannot find any information on our turbotax account confirming this.

Do not expect quick results from amending. It an take 4 to 6 months to for the IRS to process an amended return.
