I signed up for TurboTax with the understanding that simple tax returns, like mine with only the T2202 and T4A forms, would be free. However, to my surprise, after completing my return, I was asked to pay for the Deluxe version.
I feel cheated, and I'm left wondering if a refund is possible. I specifically signed up for the Basic online version and didn't anticipate any additional fees, especially for a feature I didn't need.
Has anyone else encountered a similar situation with TurboTax? Were you able to resolve it and possibly get a refund for the upgrade fee? I'd greatly appreciate any advice or insights you might have on how to handle this situation.
