That was a stupid response. I want access to the documents I filed with Turbo tax. I want the rerun documents I received as a result of filing there. If I were able to get those by logging into my account, surely I wouldn’t be posting this question. I’m telling you people it doesn’t work- my account shows NO DOCUMENTS. IT DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO VIEW ANY DOCUMENTS ANYWHERE ON THE PLATFORM. So how do I get in contact with a human who can use their brain to help remedy this issue?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
That stupid response has helped hundreds of other users who had no problem accessing their prior year tax returns.
You Must sign onto your online account using the Exact same User ID that you used to create the prior year tax return. Then you Must start a 2022 tax return, enter some personal information and then click on the Tax Home link on the left side of the online program screen.
You will then have access to any prior year tax returns -

You have to sign onto your prior year online account using the exact same User ID you used to create the online account.
Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one). Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.
Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If none of the user ID's received will access your online account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"

If I were one of the hundreds of people who had no issues accessing my prior tax returns, I wouldn’t be on this forum, would I? So now you’ve offered both a stupid and irrelevant response. And if you were to offer a smart response, it would be tailored to the person who is indeed having issues accessing their prior year tax documents.. considering that is the issue at hand.
I would add- it is ridiculous to believe that every single person is on social media and offer that as the only means of contacting an employee for support. How about give me a normal way to speak to someone. A phone number someone actually answers? An email? Or is that too commonsensical of an approach?
You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.
Start a 2022 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !
EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

NOTE: TurboTax and the IRS save return for seven years. Returns older than seven years are purged.
To call TurboTax customer support

Customer support is available from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time daily
It would be lovely if you people would just stop replying if you are just going to say the same unhelpful things that do not apply over and over again.
These “people” you’re treating like crap are VOLUNTEER TurboTax users just like you, only they’re trying to help you despite your nasty attitude. Call customer support they’ll tell you the same thing.
log into your return using the user name and password you used to set up the account. How hard is this? Did you keep that information with your tax documents??
I don’t give a **bleep** who any of these people are. If they, like you, cannot offer any input that is valuable to me, they can keep it moving. You can mind the business that pays you while you’re at it.
