I got this letter too from the IRS. It says thank u for your inquiry of Aug 10, 2022 but what inquiry? Did you possibly amend your return ?
then yesterday I got a letter from intuit TurboTax , saying that there records show that I have not filed my taxes for 2021 yet by the IRS records, but I already did file with liberty tax last year back in February, so I don't understand why it says that I haven't filed when I did. I have never used turbo tax to file my taxes ever. TT sends out auto reminders to anyone who started a return but did not finish it ... so if you already filed simply ignore the email reminder.
Did you receive your refund after the days were up ???
Letter 2645c is sent by the IRS when you, or your representative, have sent in additional tax information, but the IRS has not had time to process it yet.
Basically, this just acknowledges that documents were received, but no action has been taken yet.
You can track the progress of your tax refund, using the IRS Where's my refund? tool. Click here to access that.

We don’t want turbo tax to make the irs go any faster
what we want are answers , smarty pants we paid for Audit help so help or you won’t get a payment from me period Irs already hasn’t paid and I’ll just place a stop payment on the debit if you think you can take money out my account twice , and just block you from ever being able to bill my checking or savings since you’re not of help any way charge people for Audit assistance and when there’s an audit : it’s all Turbo tax can’t make its go any faster just sit and wait , SO NOW TBT WILL ALSO WAIT ON THAT $409 payment since you’re not helping those who paid for help why pay !
Mine went from 90days to an additional 60 so prepare yourself it’s coming
"we paid for audit help"
Audit support helps if you are being audited or if you receive a letter from the IRS. Audit help does not intercede with the IRS if the IRS is just delaying your refund for some reason, nor can TurboTax intercede or make inquiries with the IRS on your behalf. The IRS does not share information with TurboTax after you file your tax return.
If you chose to pay your TT fees using your federal refund, when you made that choice you signed an agreement that says if your refund is offset or delayed too long, TurboTax can debit your account for the fees. You will get several emails ahead of that, and should respond by contacting TurboTax. You will not be paying the fees twice. Your fees have not yet been paid. They are not paid until either when the third party bank receives your refund, or when your account is debited.
Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund? Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive? Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account. TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.

This is what I received too, I don't understand it
@cmomsboobell4 You are posting to an old thread that goes back several years with posts from multiple users. We do not know what "this" is that you are referring to. Do you mean you got a letter from the IRS? What does it say? TurboTax gets no information after you file your return, so no one at TT knows about a letter or a message you got from the IRS.
I got the same exact thing I filed 2/2/24 and still nothing 4/30/24 Thats my question are we getting our refund or what
@DOTTINGER What same thing? Only the IRS can tell you when you will get your refund. After Turbo Tax sends it to the IRS they are done with their part. The IRS doesn't update Turbo Tax about your return. Turbo Tax just gives you an estimated date of 21 days.
IRS Where's my refund
A 2645c letter never got this kind of hold on my taxes ever in my filing taxes since 1976
