Transit pass credit

Regarding the transit pass credit.  If a TTC pass was not purchased every month, are you still able to submit 3 or 4 monthly passes or does it have to be a full year's worth of monthly passes?

You are entitled to claim the number of monthly passes you purchased.  It does not have to be for a full year.  If you purchased only one monthly pass it can be claimed.

Excellent thanks.  And just so I understand, a tax refund would not be increased as a result of this tax credit?  It would only be a benefit if there was an amount that is owed to the government?

That is correct.  It is a non-refundable tax credit.
