You will receive the following error code when filing your NETFILE return if the CRA thinks you’ve used invalid characters in your street mailing address. This issue can typically be addressed very easily within TurboTax by using the following steps:
- Select the icon of the magnifying glass (or Find) in the menu above.
- Type Mailing address.
- Select Mailing Address and Home Phone from the list, then select Go.
You can confirm the complete mailing address the CRA has on record for you in your CRA My Account.
Note: NETFILE errors are returned from the CRA when they process your submission and are not generated by TurboTax.
