How do I fix NETFILE error code 90317?

If you get NETFILE error code 90317 it means you have claimed EI premiums from self-employment on line 31217 of your return but the CRA’s records show you're not registered with the Canada Employment Insurance Commission (CEIC).
To fix this:
If you are in fact registered for EI and you're still getting this error, you need to print and mail your tax return.
