My employer overpaid my bonus and will be pulling the overpayment of 2000 from my account.
They gave me two options.
1) Pull the full 2000 from my account by next week, which won't be included on my T4.
2) Deduct the overpayment equally between my next 3 pay cheques(Jan 31, Feb 14, 28). This amount will be in my T4 but they will provide a T4 amendment for me.
My question is for option 2 if I do receive the T4 amendment before the filing deadline in April, i can jsut wait for that one and file it as per usual without and issues?
