During install from disk and as well from turbotax.ca download I am getting a Windows Installer box with a list of paremeters etc. and then installation stops.
I saw someone else had a similar error and they were told to visit the download page. But I've done that and have the same issue. The Windows Installer window shows up right after the installation is extracting file Turbo Tax 2018.msi

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
You have a space in your path to temp directory which causes an issue with the installation providing a dialog like what you see. This has been resolved in the latest release.
Please download and install the latest installer from https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/questions/1364511-where-can-i-download-the-cd-download-edition-....

The engineering team looked into the issue and found that the issue which was fixed in early feb came back again in the mid feb release. The engineering team is working on it to provide a solution as a download by end of this week.
What you can try alternatively try is: Download a early Feb installer for Turbotax 2018 which has this fix included. You can download it from https://intuitglobal.intuit.com/downloads/CanadaTax/2018/dls/TurboTax2018_Build3007.exe
and see if it helps in installing the product.
The application ones booted will automatically find a update and it will patch you to the latest updates.
Can someone please try and let me know if this fixes the issue?
