I'm filing my taxes on turbotax (free version), and it asks for my SIN number. After entering my 9-digit number it asks me for another SIN, claiming mine is invalid...
Please select everything that is in the SIN box and delete it. Then re-type your SIN, making sure to use only numbers and no special characters or spaces. There should be total of 9 numbers. Ex: 123456789
