For the tax year 2020, there is no Box 205 on the T4A or in the tax forms. The T4A Box 205 One-time payment for older seniors was newly included on your T4A Box 205 for the 2021 tax year's return and T4A information slip. When you do your 2021 tax return, you will find the amount on your T4A and in your return.
If you are using the 2021 Online software, you can access your T4A Box 205 by following these steps:
1. Sign in to your tax return
2. On the left-hand side menu click the Income tab.
3. Then click the T-Slips tab
4. Scroll down and select the T4A Pension, Retirement, Annuity tab.
5. On this page, on the right, click Enter New T4A for *your name*.
6. Scroll to the bottom of this page and you should see Covid Related Benefits.
7. Here you will see Box 205, enter your information here.
8. Click Done with T4A to save your work.
