Transferring turbotax program to new computer. Installed on new computer but will not accept license code. Message says license code already been used. What do I do?

Currently they are available Monday through Friday 9 AM to 6 PM ET. But after NETFILE opens on February 19th, they will be open 7 days a week, 9 AM to midnight ET.

During tax season (from CRA NETFILE opening (February 24, 2025) to the regular filing deadline (April 30, 2025), we're available 7 days a week during these hours:

  • 9 AM to midnight ET for English support
  • 9 AM to 9 PM ET for French support

During the rest of the year (up until February 23, 2025, and from May 1, 2025 to mid-February 2026, we're available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM ET for English and French support.

I called the number and waited on hold for an hour to be told , its been installed 3 times, they couldn't tell me where or what pc's just somehow 2 pc had used 3 license.  I was given the option to purchase another license.. useless. There has to be something that can be done as all 3 of the licenses are tired to a a set number of returns ,  why does it matter if its on 3 or 4 or...

@Aarknoid The maximum number of installations for TurboTax desktop is three. It cannot be installed a fourth time if it has already been used three times. Furthermore, we are unable to reset the license code.
