Getting started
In fact, for at least the last 2 days, the CRA website "Detailed Information for Turbo Tax" no longer states that the capital gains forms are in the process of being certified by the CRA. Hence, the CRA is not the issue. Turbo Tax needs to prioritize the release of the software update for 2024 that will unblock us from Netfiling our income tax returns. Similar to other users/ clients, I did not even have capital gains to report in 2024, and yet the default error message stated that as the reason for my not being able to file or print the return, or save a PDF draft copy. Hence, the default error message appears to be a shortcut programmed into the software in order to facilitate Turbo Tax's management of its delayed updates; not to better serve its clients. (I have attached the link to the CRA's website below).
