I have a T2202/ T4A related to grants received for part time school. The system wants me to change which Box 105 on the T4A that the $ amount was in. Which box to choose?

It had been in -other scholarships, grants, awards etc: taxable - eligible for $500 exemption-, and I have since moved it to -Part-time scholarship: also have T2202 with months in Box 24-, but the warning did not go away. Is it supposed to go in -Elementary/secondary student scholarships, grants, etc: not taxable?

Getting started

Please use the second box since you are a part time student.

Is that still the case if it is not a scholarship, but a grant?

Getting started

@krahn-katelyn You would have to enter your grant amount in the Box 105 that fits your situation. As per the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), student grants/bursaries whether full-time or part-time are non-taxable. Other grants might be taxable or even considered self-employment income.
