Yes, TurboTax will assist you if using TurboTax 2025 on Windows 10.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Getting started

I have been using Turbotax since 1990.  It has been the only tax software I have ever used.  At the ripe age of 76 I have no plans on buying a new computer just to run the new version of the program.  I have a fully functional computer running Windows 10 which has the extended support from Microsoft.

A quick online search shows that the H&R program will import Turbotax forms.  It's also cheaper.  I start doing my taxes at the end of January.  If the folks at Intuit don't realize the mistake they've made and allow us to use the program on Windows 10 machines I will become an H&R customer.  At my age I won't be a customer of anyone for long, but I can tell you that you have pissed off a very loyal, and long-term, customer.

@user17675835682 You can still install the TurboTax Desktop for tax year 2025 on Windows 10, but we recommend using Windows 11.

Not if purchased in the US (inexplicable!).  I do realize this is a Canadian site. Many arrive here inadvertently seeking a reason for Intuit's idiotic policy (though we are glad our Canadian neighbors can still use Windows 10).

P.S. Most of us didn't vote for the man in charge of our country and are embarrassed and ashamed.

I have already. Search engines inadvertently bring US Intuit customers to this support site.

Why is Windows 10 acceptable for TT Desktop users in Canada but unsafe or insecure in the US?

Getting started

@bish999 I cannot answer on behalf of the US team, as we don't have much insight. If you have any inquiries regarding their  products and system requirements, feel free to reach out to them directly— TurboTax US Community
