How do I make sure my filing went through? I remember submitting it, but i was using the free version and I didn't have to log in.

Getting started
All versions of TurboTax Online require you to login to use the software. You may have been using the https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax-resources/canada-income-tax-calculator.jsp, which doesn’t create a tax return or submit anything to the CRA.
You may have also used the “Remember me” option on the login page, or set up your browser to automatically log you into TurboTax Online. In that case, you can check if you have received a confirmation code: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/replies/3227955
If there is no confirmation code, then the return has not been filed. Try to NETFILE the return again: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/replies/2647647
