Do I only submit expenses for a sole proprietor business for the months is was open? We closed the business on April 30th 2022
Does the closure affect how I input the fiscal year?

Self-employed
Yes, you only submit the expenses for the months the business was open. On Form T2125 input the period that the business was active and there should be a checkbox to indicate that the business closed that you will check!
