I used the CD version for previous years taxes. If I purchase the download version, will I be able to transfer prior year data and save / access my own tt file ?

I used the CD version for previous years taxes. If I purchase the download version, will I be able to transfer prior year data and save / access my own tt file ?

for doing 2023 tax returns

Yes, you can. The CD version and the download version are both the same program - TurboTax Desktop. There is no difference if you install using the CD or the download.
