I have started over using autopopulate instead of inputting the information myself. Now my husband's information is in there twice. How do I proceed?

Usually, the reason for information to appear twice is when one imports information to TurboTax using CRA's Auto-fill service and then enters the details manually. You may have to delete the repeated information if this is the case.

You will go to the Income section of your return- under TSlips- and continue and click on "EDIT" when you see the duplicates. If this doesn't work, you can start your return from scratch.
