Can we claim a deduction? we had to have our home renovated to help my disabled wife move around can the cost be claimed
we had wall to wall broadloom removed and wood floor installed because she could no longer use her walker to get around

Yes, you sure can, as long as your wife is considered disabled, and you have a signed T2201 from your physician.
To claim the Home Accessibility Tax Credit, you will go to your "Deductions" tab - "Payment Profile" and you will see the "Home Accessibility Tax Credit" open it and start from there.
