How can I qualify for canada caregiver credit for my exhusband who has no family and i do all the helping/shopping, etc for him. He wants to live in retirement with frien
He wishes to stay living at retirement home with older friends, which means even more driving and trips to his home to help him. We are divorced, but we are best friends, and I will never have a future relationship with another.

Unfortunately, you can only claim the Canada caregiver credit (CCC) for a spouse or common-law partner, your (or your spouse's or common-law partner's) child, grandchild, parent, grandparent, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, niece, or nephew.
You can’t claim it for helping an ex-spouse or friend.
