I pay my daughter's tuition from an RESP. Does she have to show this on her tax return and can I transfer any unused amount to me?

Yes, your daughter needs to report amounts she got from the RESP on her tax return. She should have gotten a T4A slip for the RESP income. She can claim the tuition tax credit to offset the income, and can transfer the tuition to you if she doesn't use it all.
