I have downloaded turbo tax premium on my
computer. In Saskatchewan there is a graduate retention program. Last year I
finished college and had the 20000.00 certificate. I could use 105 for the
first 4 years and then 15% for 3 years. In 2016 I did NOT need the 2000.00
credit as I had no saskatchewan tax payable so it became the carry forward.
This year I wanted to use the 2000.00 from 2016 and also the 2000.00 from 2017
as my Sask tax was over 5000.00. When I did the return on turbo tax, turbo tax
wants to use over 5000.00 in order to make my sask tax zero. This is not
correct . Please advise what I can do. Thanks.
