In the Total for 2017 column, enter the amounts from your T2202A slip, as reported.

In the second column, enter just the portion of amounts that apply to the period of Jan 1 to Sept, 4, 2017. You can use the tax info provided from your educational institution, or if you kept payment records throughout the year, use those to calculate your eligible amounts.
