Updated to latest March 14 release Version 00.01.61 Build 6005 (068G21). On March 14 itself, update was failing - (TT cannot determine if update is required). Seems to be fixed now, however it is very buggy:
- Does not remember answers to questions in EasyStep.
- Shows selection of wrong ones if you close and reopen a return.
- If you switch between Forms and EasyStep, does not update from one method to the other.
- Opens too many unused, unneeded forms, cannot close them, even if forced closed through forms menu.
- For returns that cannot be NetFiled, does not print all required forms, e.g. T1 prints pages 1, 2, 4 and missing other needed forms. Had to print them all manually.
Lacks confidence of previous year versions. I also use the US version for US filings and it is very superior and smooth. Canadian version is not ready for market, almost like a rush with little Quality Assurance testing.
I need to know why I cannot access the optimizer tools. This may be my last year of using TT.
