is Eyeglass Frame line item deduction supposed to include cost for both the Rx lenses AND the frames?
Hi, Is the "Eyeglass Frames" deduction item supposed to include the cost for BOTH the prescription eyeglass lenses AND the frames together? Or are you supposed to only list the cost of the frames there separately and list the cost of the prescription eyeglass lenses on the separate line item called "Prescriptions"?

Credits and deductions
Vision devices – including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and prescription swimming goggles to correct eyesight – prescription needed.
You can include in medical expenses the amounts you pay for eyeglasses and contact lenses needed for medical reasons.
List them into "Prescriptions" and don't have to separate them. (unless you are a Québec resident whose medical expenses for eyeglass frames are limited to $200 per person)
