I am married and live with my wife in Ontario. We have a duaghter for whom we paid $9000 for the daycare fees in 2023. Can I claim this under child care expenses?
Yes, usually the lower income earner will claim the child care expenses which includes daycare. Please make sure that you keep your receipt from the daycare in case the CRA asks to see it.
