E-filing 2018 Return

I searched and TurboTax says if I buy the software I can E-file 2018.  

I already bought the TurboTax Deluxe 2018, but never filed.  

How can I open my 2018 Return and E-file?

I already tried loading the Software, but that is amended.  I printed the return but never mailed and would like to E-file.

Only the current tax year can be e-filed. You will need to print and mail in your 2018 tax return.

E-filing for 2018 returns has been closed since October 15, 2019.  2018 has to be submitted via mail.

 

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
