Quebec and CRA will not allow me to File online 2024 taxes

Hi,

I have completed both Quebec and CRA income tax and I cannot submit either online. I am getting the red cancellation dot when I go to click on NetFile. The Quebec side is not giving me an explanation on why and CRA is referring to locked forms ? The locked forms do not apply to my situation at all....using Desktop version. HELP.

alot of us are in the same boat unfortunately. All they keep saying is that CRA is working on the issue and no ETA is given.  I've been using Turbo tax since 2019 because it was always fast and efficient. I think this will be the last year I'm using it. Hopefully we wont have to wait until end of march like it says

Update!

I spoke with their help line and they have confirmed with me that the issue will be resolved on March 14th.

That is good to know.  Good on you for finding a way to talk to someone there!  I have been using this software for 15 years and it is the first time this happens.  Looks like it is pension splitting in my case, but it let me file, just holding up my husband…but you would think they are linked by the pension splitting.  Very irritating and I am thinking of just dumping my receipts on an accountant next year

It’s March 14th and still not happening.

Yep indeed. Tried going on the software last night and the message is to come back on March 17 to file…. I’m livid…

I know.  I checked this morning.  Apparently capital gains is a big reason but I don’t have those.  But we are pension splitting, and I see the Quebec form is a culprit.  Odd that I was able to file mine though.  Pension splitting goes on both people’s returns

I don’t have capital gains either and not splitting with anyone. I guess that schedule 3 is mandatory when filing? SMH I am very annoyed

Same! Like many of the TT faithful, I’m expecting a refund. Really beginning to feel my blood boil.

I did my sister’s taxes (no capital gains) and I still can’t file for QC. Once again, a refund is in play.
