I am preparing a tax return for my mother. she lives with her partner in a common law relationship. I don't want to prepare his return only hers. How do I do that?
In TurboTax Online, when it asks you "Who are you preparing this return for?" you can select "Someone Else". Then it will ask "Are you preparing a married/common-law return?", and you can say No to only prepare your mother's return.
