Do I have to claim income from another country if I am a Canadian citizen. I had a one year working holiday visa in said country.

Yes, you do need to include that income on your Canadian return. If Canada has a tax treaty with that country, you may not need to pay taxes on your working holiday income. If you paid foreign taxes, you might be able to get the Foreign tax Credit for that amount.
