I made $23k working at a retailer in 2014 and i dont get anything back (infact i owe $43) why is that?

compared to 2013 i made $13k and obviously i made more last year with 23k, but its a still a min. wage job. i entered the 2 T4's (2 different amounts) in perfectly on this site and tried other sites and got the same $43 amount owing. on the 2013 tax refund i got back nearly $2k. i know because i earned more money i wouldnt get back as much but -$43 owing seems way off.

this is only my 2nd time doing taxes myself and was wondering if anyone can help me?

For the tax year 2013, you were entitled to the Working Income tax Benefit because your income was so low.  In 2014, because your income increased, you are no longer allowed this benefit.  For more info, please see http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/bnfts/wtb/wtb_ncm-eng.html
