Error Turbot Tax pricing

I am about to pay for turbo tax online (Self-employed) but the price is higher (60$) than advertised on your web site (48$). Maybe it's a promotion? But still, why doesn't it apply?

I also received an email from Desjardins offering a "discount" of 20% on the price (getting me to a link saying the original price is 60$, but I can get it at 48$), but still does not apply when I click on it.

How can I benefit from the 48$ promotion that seems to be going on?

Whenever I get to the checkout page, it says the original price is 65$ and I have a discount of 5$, so 60$ per declaration, which does not coincides with any of the pricing offert I see online.

Thanks for you help!

Troubleshooting

You have been offered a third-party discount. To avail yourself of that promotion, you do have to log in via Desjardins' account or the link provided in the email. You will be prompted to pay the price listed on the TurboTax website if you have logged in through it.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Troubleshooting

The issue is actually that no matter what I do, I don't get the discount price (48$).

Even more so, when I look on your website, the price shown for online self-employed declaration IS 48$ per declaration, but I am charged 60$. So even without the discount from Desjardins, why am I paying more than the price advertised on you website?

Troubleshooting

I might add that the when I am about to pay, it says the original price is 65, but I have a discount of 5$. Is it why I can't add any other promotion? That would by such a scam considering that the original price is 60, not 65$! Please tell me how I can benefit from the 48$ price advertised 🙂Capture d’écran, le 2025-03-27 à 11.03.45.png Capture d’écran, le 2025-03-27 à 11.01.39.png
