Troubleshooting
@Buchd1 wrote:I also had a capital loss. I tried wealthsimple as some suggested, but no go. after reentering all my forms, it threw the same error on netfile submission. I've printed the return and will need to print all the receipts to submit with it I guess.
@Buchd1 i had a capital gain, not a loss. Maybe that’s why I was successful. Before printing the return, why not contact WealthSimple support and see if they can help. They can’t be any worse than TurboTax’s support. By the way, I’m not shilling for WealthSimple. I’ve been using TurboTax/QuickTax for about 30 years.

Troubleshooting
I checked Turbotax this morning, and there was an update. I checked the forms, S3 and T936 and all the capital gains slots were populated correctly. I have not tried netfile yet, I’ll wait for a confirmation on this thread
but it appears to be fixed!

no luck here. Got the update but box 21 on the T3 is still not being pulled into Chart A on the 936. S3 has always been correct.

Troubleshooting
@RGL2 We have tested it on our end; it is working fine. Make sure that software is up to date. Please check the entries one more time. Alternately, try erasing the slips and entering them again.

Troubleshooting
No, it doesn't work. Cleared Boxes 21 and 53 on the T3, restarted Turbotax, re-entered the info. Still not on the 936 and rejected by Netfile.

Troubleshooting
I did a separate 'test' return with minimal info on it and the amount did transfer from the T3 to 936. So it's something about this particular file - maybe because there are capital losses? Maybe the file is corrupted now?

Troubleshooting
Finally got it to load....T936 still not working properly for a spouse with a 50/50 split and a net loss.
