CPP AND OAS UNDER MOM IS SHOWING AS MY DAD AND I HAVE NO OPTION TO ENTER HER CPP AND OAS ON THE RETURN!!

Hello,

 

I am doing my parents return and have completed the tax profiles. Both of them receive CPP and OAS but when I am inputting the slip info, under my Mom's side it is my Dad's name and when inputted it shows under his side but not hers. I initially setup as pension split claim which may be my issue, but I started a new return and deselected that and still have the same issue. HOW DO I ENTER T4A's FOR MY MOM ON HER PROFILE AND T4A'S FOR MY DAD ON HIS PROFILE???????

 

Also noting I marked off the proper T slips under both their tax profiles to input on the return.

Troubleshooting

In order to assist you properly, can you tell us which version of TurboTax you are using; Online or Desktop?

 

If you are using TurboTax Online, You have to complete one of the spouse return (e.g. your father) and then when everything is completed, you click on 2024 Tax return (left menu), select the other spouse name (e.g. your mother) at the top of the page and you start entering the info.

 

We do not have an issue like this reported, at the moment. If the issue persist, let us know and we will have a closer look at it.
