Troubleshooting
It worked for me when I put it in the second 53 box. But it didn't work in the first or in any other combination.

Troubleshooting
I wrote this weeks ago, I think, and subsequently it was found that it did not work if there were additional capital losses e.g. from a T5008. But for many, it enabled filing.

Troubleshooting
As of Monday, April 21st, I can confirm the errors still persist. We are unable to Netfile due to consistent errors. The update did nothing to resolve the issue.

Troubleshooting
This problem with the box 52 and 53 is resolved upon Mcpats’s suggestion to enter the figures to the second 52 and 53 box!
My return is now filed.
thank you

Troubleshooting
Thanks! I had similar issues with adding-up issues with boxes 21, 53 and 58. I just made box 53 equal to 21 and ignored 58. I got the correct bottom-line tax results, compared to filling out the old fashioned paper, but the CRA is missing some T3 detail. I hope they don't mind. Goodbye Intuit Turbotax.

Troubleshooting
I finally got it to work when I went into the forms and manually entered it on the T3 slip. Wish someone had given this advice sooner. But it is done.
