Troubleshooting
I just spent over an hour on the phone with TurboTax support - they haven't fixed it yet and the final solution they gave me was to print and mail out the tax return!!!!! I tried all the other recommended fixes and still have the error.
Unbelievable.

Troubleshooting
Skip the Easy Step and go to the Forms view, T3. I entered all the boxes that appeared on the T3 that had been issued, except that I combined boxes 52 and 53 in the same box. I was able to Netfile.
This, after several hours of trying different solutions and an hour on the phone with TurboTax support (and they didn't give me the fix - I found it on the community). Dreadful tech/customer support.

Thanks for that. Incredible and a very bad sign that this has apparently not been dealt with by Intuit after weeks of complaints.

I agree with the comment from dkealey above. In addition if you have a T-Slip with an amount in Box 21, you must also enter an amount in TurboTax Box 53 even if your T-Slip does not show an amount in this box. This allowed me to get rid of all errors and continue to Netfile.

thanks ! But when I do that as there are a few original T3 slips that have a value in box 21 and not in box 52 and 53 it increases what I owe as if it double counts 21 now. These slips normally have besides 21 values in boxes 49/50/51... but not 52 and 53 so now turbotax increases what it thinks I owe as it counts as if 21 is 21+ 52/5e
