If your 2024 tax return is still being processed or was filed late, your payments may be temporarily held until the CRA completes the assessment.
You can find the exact status of your credit through the CRA My Account portal:
- Sign in and navigate to the "Benefits and credits" section.
- Select "GST/HST Credit" to view your statement of account, upcoming payment dates, and whether a payment was issued or held.
- Check the "Profile" tab to ensure your Direct Deposit information and home address are current.
