The total income tax deducted on my spouses detailed tax return line 43700 is different from the total tax deducted on her t4 slips, what am i missing?

The line 43700 (Total income tax deducted) on your income tax return is the total income tax deducted from all your income sources.
As per the CRA: Income tax deducted at source will be shown on the following information slips:
Box 22
- T4 slip, Statement of Remuneration Paid
- T4A slip, Statement of Pension, Retirement, Annuity, and Other Income
- T4A(OAS) slip, Statement of Old Age Security
- T4A(P) slip, Statement of Canada Pension Plan Benefits
- T4A-RCA slip, Statement of Distributions from a Retirement Compensation Arrangement (RCA)
- T4E slip, Statement of Employment Insurance and Other Benefits
