I imported my T5008 data from the CRA to save entering a lot of the basic info. In the process it also imported my T4RIF data.

Here's the issue - I had already entered my T4RIF's but TurboTax entered them again and even "hid" the duplicate entries several columns to the right. My Tax owing jumped way up much more than I expected from my T5008 data.

Fortunately I finally noticed my T4RIF total was too high and that led me to finding the hidden duplicate entries.

I don't know if this is a TurboTax issue or a CRA issue but buyer beware!
